Day Three Hundred and Sixty Three
Happy Sunday!
Today I had a wonderful morning with a lovely lady that I met for coffee, and now I must go to the gym,  pack, and then head to Milwaukee with my love.

I will be taking photographs while I am gone but I will not be posting them until I get back, due to the fact I want to pay attention to who I am with, rather than my computer.
But I will post them ASAP.
I can't wait for this trip -
and the journey my life will be taking. <3

Enjoy your New Year's everyone.
I certainly am blessed with an outstanding beginning.
So blessed.

Day Three Hundred and Fifty Six

I honestly can't believe it's so close to New Years and Christmas,
although it doesn't feel like Christmas to me because of this weather change.

Today I am going to the beach at night to hopefully capture some great images.
My life is revolved around this camera folks.

Day Travels

Sorry it took so long to update. I had an issue with Raw files reading correctly from my camera to computer :p - Headache for sure - but I figured out a temporary solution until I get home.
I didn't really edit these next few photos due to the fact I am outside and in the sun - therefore, I can't see the screen the best :P
And - who are we kidding, some of them don't need to be edited.
Away from the snow - so beautiful.

Day Three Hundred and Fifty Three

Well today I am gathering my things for a long day of travel tomorrow. I may get delayed for a day or two on these 365 because I am going to another state for a week.
However, the upcoming images will be worth the wait.
I'm honestly beyond excited for New Years.

Day Three Hundred and Fifty Two

I guess you can say I have been experimenting with a lot of weird things lately.
As a photographer you can get stuck into routines of the same things, especially when you do it for your job. I don't like doing the same things.
So I do weeks on end of strange things that aren't typically my style.
As of now, my goal is to expand my photoshopping ability. Like, the fact this was taken when it was night time, around 6:30 - which in the winter, is already dark.
I also manipulated this quite a bit.
You'll see more of this stuff come about in the next few days,  and then you'll begin to see more cheery stuff because I'll be in another state (one that is much warmer.)

The next three weeks, are going to be nothing but a blessing a day.
You'll see what I mean.

Day Three Hundred and Fifty One.

Sometimes, your old loves will rekindle new flames. And sometimes, those loves turn out to be the most beautiful loves of all.

And I'm not kidding when I say, I love drying out flowers and keeping them forever in my apartment. They are non-forgetting, non-dying memories that stay with me for as long as I live.

( I really did light them on fire, folks.)

Baby Braiden.

Now, If anyone knows me on a personal level, they will tell you that I am not really into infants or children. By this I mean, I am very good at taking their photographs because I have a lot of training, however, I am not sure I see myself having them in the future.

However, when you photograph a close friend's babies or kids,
it is actually very enjoyable.
Regardless if they are crying, laughing, screaming, or smiling, there is a deep connection between a friend's baby and I. I guess, I just feel closer to them because I have history with their mom or parents.

I don't really photograph children or babies for strangers.
That's the truth.
Could I?
Yes.
Have I?
Only when I worked at Lifetouch as a photographer, but not on my own.
Why?
Well I haven't had a huge opportunity, and I also make my scenes from scratch.
While I'm taking the photographs, it must look pretty funny to the parents. Because I don't use fancy backdrops or lighting. I have them, I just... don't use them because I have found things that I prefer.
Based on request I suppose I would... But I haven't due to the amazing fact that people trust me when I am photographing.

Besides that long intro to this photography session....
haha
Baby Braiden.
Three weeks old.
An absolute Joy to capture.

And Just in time for Christmas!
What a cute little delivery.
