Sorry, I know I usually post very rapidly but this is my last week of my summer classes, so there is much studying involved. However, I am getting down to business on Friday, and you will all see this wonderful couple in action :)

This is my last week for my independent study 

and next week I begin shooting my thesis along with numerous other shoots (like weddings and engagements and such)

I can't get enough of this puppy. The more I edit the more I fall in love with everything he does.

This is my official last week of classes and then I can focus on my photography every single day and do shoots as much as I want. I am so thrilled to finally be free for three weeks.. 

Well.. free as in, photographing a lot for my thesis. 

But no studying. HOORRRAY!

Day Two Hundred and Five

I had to experiment with Chelsea on ways to play with sparklers. I always did it with film, but not digital. This is just a rough draft, I didnt have light stands because they were in my car, which broke down and was in a shop. On top of that, my transmitters weren't working because I didn't have batteries.. which meant that I had to flash it manually. NEEDLESSTOSAY, this was all done manually. By me hitting the shutter button, flashing my lights, and then running around chelsea.. what a work out.

This is my home made reflector.. it works well despite its cheap looking apparence. With out it, I wouldnt have all of the detail in my face that I got :) I like it.

Seeing this women is always a wonderful day

Maddie and I have been talking about this shoot since the day she found out she was having a baby. Background story: I grew up with Maddie and throughout high school I knew Dallas.
These two found each other and never let go - and now they get to raise a beautiful baby boy together.

Before this shoot started, I walked up to Dallas waving the envelope that I was able to read before anyone else to find out if their baby was a boy or a girl. 

They were so excited.

I hope you can see their love for each other, as I saw with my own eyes.

This is a beautiful couple - that are able to share a life journey together.
