Portland Bound

Well, I'm packing all of my final things up at the moment.

I am such a mother (of my cats) that I feel like I am going to have a heart attack leaving them behind.

Breathe....

Anyways, for once I am taking most of my equipment. Usually I just take my camera- but I really want to capture everything I see... probably because I want to live there and I want to show where I will be living.

I am very excited to start a new journey. 

Besides my hair of course...

I dyed it purple today.

Day Fifty Eight

So I ended up with two completely different photographs today. I know - one is more appealing to look at - and they are no way cohesive.. at all. However, this is what happened.

In two days I will be in Portland Oregon. I plan on shooting a lot there - maybe even if people will let me - I will be able to photograph strangers :) Portland is a beautiful area. The photograph on the left- is all of my digital stuff that I plan on taking. I have so many lenses, but I am taking my favorite three, I am also taking a few speed lights - because for once, I am going to experiment in another location. Usually I get lazy and just bring my camera. Not this time - I am challenging myself.

I also have 2 cd's to send out - so thats what is at the bottom.

When I stepped out on my porch today - I noticed my dead flowers were still there... and that intrigued me. haha. So... thats with the random flowers.

I had my last exam today :) Now I feel so much better, and so much more free.
Can't wait to leave the area and explore my (hopefully) new home. :)

Adorable. Decided to edit this "cool" because sometimes I like cool colors.

Today has been my first day to slightly relax, so I cleaned, began to edit TODOS DE LAS FOTOS, and I am currently listening to spanish music.. because I have an oral exam tomorrow.. Don't judge.

My apologies for not being super exciting these last two days. I have been overloaded with work and school (and its the weekend -_-) However, tomorrow night, I am taking a break from working out and studying and I will be editing shoots that I haven't finished yet! :)

Have I mentioned how crazy my life is at this moment? I literally have 3 calendars of my life. One photography, one class, one of my jobs. Shew. 4 More days, and I will be in Portland. Oh my camera is so excited.

I will be editing more tomorrow of Cody and Kristen :)

My day consists of working 9-1. Eating. Working at other job from 3-11 and studying at work because it dies at 9 in that store.

This is my baby, Maddy. I have had her since she was old enough to leave her mama. (6 weeks)
Maddy is.. a special cat. She is bi-polar. However, she is incredibly smart.
She hates when I sing.. She meows at me. However, she knows how to sit, shake, lay down, and roll over.
She looks evil in this photo..
Id say that shows her well when she is angry. haha

But she is like a dog. Follows me, comes when I say her name... and sometimes when I am alone - She is my best friend.

Today I was a model.

Because I photograph fashion, I know the faces to make.. But I am still awkward.

Less than two weeks and I will be in Portland. I am so.. so very excited.

My crazy life continues.

Today will consist of working, laundry, working out, and homework.

Believe it or not - this is a not busy day. 

I almost picked up a shift at my second job.. until I realized that I have homework.

However, I am learning to do make up - YAY ANOTHER SKILL!

These beautiful people are my parents.
Let me tell you a little bit about them.

Their love.. is an inspiration.
Their love is something that I want in my future.
These two have never fought in front of me.
They have each others backs.

And they are oh so in love still after 30 years.

Their love is a gift and is rare.

Not only do they adore each other, but they adore family.

I couldn't function without the support of these two.

My life is crazy, I have two jobs, I go to school full time, and on the side of those two jobs, I have my photography job, which gives me a third job.

I don't know how I do it, but with these two, I think that's how it's possible.

They always let me know how proud of me they are.

They push me to be better.

And they help me reach my dreams; by pushing me, and helping me when I need help.
